I was thinking the same with the newspaper reviews. It should be very interesting to see who will appear on those.

One of tomorrow's guests, Connie Fisher, is also appearing on Woman's Hour on Radio 4 which is produced in Salford, I believe, so it shows that create the demand with a number of shows and hopefully the guests will follow. This can only improve when ITV move there. Is there any chance of ITV moving some shows to Salford eventually?

Steph McGovern is in Salford but has laryngitis and likely to be off sick tomorrow. Which raises another problem, with the rest of BBC News in London it won't be easy getting a replacement at short notice. Presumably someone has had to get the train up there today if she isn't well enough.

I can't see ITV moving any live shows up there - and they certainly won't be doing it to help the BBC out in terms of guests.

Unlikely. Though new shows could make use of the underused Peel Studios in the future I expect. Never mind their own facilities they are developing.

There is a business unit in Salford already isn't there? Someone within the unit could cover.

How feasible would it be for the Five Live Business Presenter to cover? Are they in different buildings?

Ben Thompson covering if Steph hasn't recovered (from Twitter)!

Got a train to Salford ten minutes ago. That's cutting it fine, hence hashtag #nosleep!

With such a low ceiling, will Ben fit in the studio I wonder??

Obviously I'm never up early enough to see business news on Breakfast - the last time I recall seeing it was Declan Curry hosting from the LSE, but that must be some time ago now considering his stint on Working Lunch has been and well gone now.

Is Breakfast a seven days a week operation at Salford from the start then, especially considering it'll only be on BBC1 from 6-7am on Sunday.

Is the 'Breakfast' on the programme's main website an indication as to their new look - being in lowercase? Or has it always been like that?

It's like that for all new BBC programme pages. Breakfast on titles is uppercase as before.

Breakfast at Salford is 7-day operation. Breakfast continues to 9am on Sundays on BBC News Channel.

There is no font change. The graphics are exactly the same as they were in London, just in HD. The only changes are exclusive to breakfast and that is just new titles and stings, and new Business graphics.
