Don't know whether anybody else saw Breakfast this morning, but they were using a version of the normal weekday backdrop in the News Channel studio. I've thought that they should do this since the weekday show adopted the current backdrop. I wonder if all Breakfasts from the NC set will use this backdrop (makes sense) or whether it was just used as it's a bank holiday and tomorrow we'll get the generic NC backdrop tomorrow.
I noticed it too, just before going to bed (I work nights). I thought it was about time that there was some cohesion with the weekday and weekend versions.

Using the Breakfast backdrop again this morning, so it looks as if it's here to stay (?!)
I wonder why they didn't use it when it was first introduced on BBC Breakfast earlier on in the year?
I'm probably wrong here, but could it be because they actually use different versions of the background in N6 compared with TC7? This is purely speculation as TC7 is a much bigger studio than N6 with the screens going much higher, so perhaps a new version had to be done for N6 to accommodate it?

It's certainly not identical to the one used in TC7. The N6 version seems only to have the coloured side panels on one side. On the side further from the desk there a newsroom.

I thought the image was further along to the right. If you notice the colour fins which are on right in N6 are the same coloured fins which are on the left in TC7. On the left hand wall I think they used the part on the newsroom which is normally behind the presenters, I noticed that the 1st floor level did not quite match.
I thought they had started using the weekday clock and 'BBC Breakfast' strap arrangement at weekends as well, but today Breakfast is 'BBC News' strap and black clock on the right again a la News Channel.
