I always found Roger Johnson quite annoying whenever I caught him on the News Channel, constantly moving about all over the place and that squeaky voice of his. Glad he doesn't present on there anymore!

Tony Livesay and Sally Nugent should be the main relief presenters, in my opinion...

Jon Kay has said on his twitter that he shall still be presenting and going up to salford when required.
I'd like to see Tony do a bit more presenting as we've only actually seen him once on a sunday last year.

So Jon Kay shall still be presenting when required ... which could be never.

I would be very surprised if the main relief presenters were not Sally Nugent and Tony Daily Sport. But they could still get Squinty Kate and other presenters to come up from London (or Bristol where Jon Kay is) to cover for scheduled relief... but why would they when Tony Daily Sport and Sally Nugent are so damned good.

Just so long as Roger Moving-Wallpaper Johnson, Ranvir "My-glasses-make-me-look-sophisticated" Singh and "Its Roastin' Diane" don't appear... Cool

Sally Nugent however already appears full time on sport so they would need someone to cover - though being in Salford that is no doubt far easier.

Out of interest did Mike do sport yesterday when Sally was presenting?

He did yes, from London.

Kate has said on Twitter that she will still be covering Breakfast, and as they've put Naga's profile on the new website I would assume she will be too. Since Jon is also continuing it doesn't seem like there is going to be a major change in relief presenters.

Just thought I would cross-post it here, but I have finished my mock titles for the HD move with BBC Breakfast!

Nice mention by the CA at 6:00, that today was the last edition of Breakfast from TC7.

Yes, last day at TVC. How sad!

If I understand what's being said on Twitter correctly, today's final edition presenters are Naga Munchetty, Charlie Stayt and Ben Thompson. Is that correct?

Ah..................it really does feel like the end of an era. And I can't even see it!

Charlie and Louise, with Ben on Business and Mike on Sport.

2 rather creative shots used so far this morning. The first at the throw to regional news at 6:26 with the camera zooming to a little table to 2 'Breakfast' mugs on, followed by a long zoom starting under the News at 6 desk, past a waving cameraman upon the return.

It's not the last day at TVC, just TC7 - they'll be in N6 over the Easter weekend.

What a fantastic closing! I hope someone has recorded it because mine's not working properly.

For those who missed - it was a slow pan away from the sofa behind the camera with the bed music. Then changed to a very low camera, which panned backwards through the studio doors which then closed, saying 'Studio 7' on them. Great ending.

Goodbye from the sofa in London:

Very sorry for the quality, particularly the audio (you'll want to turn your speakers up). My tuner decided not to work. Hoping someone can upload something that's a bit better quality!
