The low-res version of the backdrop was on for a short bit this morning. Back to normal now:
EDIT: Seems to keep dipping in and out - looks like they are having problems with the Barco screens this morning.
One of the vectors apparently failed. The emeregency backing was put in whilst the technology was sorted.
Edited to add that there are three elements to the Barco Technology. There are the Barcos themselves. 42 IIRC in TC7. There is then the tecnology that generates the backgrounds for the various programmes and then another bit of software that generates the foreground "windows" that infills screens or portions of the barcos that gives boxes with graphics or outside sources. If any of these three elements fail, they can create varying problems.
Does anyone know what the shift pattern is going to be for breakfast now that Sian has left? Susanna has done the past two days and Louise is doing the next two, Susanna back on Friday and Louise is back at the weekend. It's the same for next week according to the radio times...I wonder if this is going to be the normal line up? I think remember reading somewhere a while ago that Susanna wasn't going to do 4 days a week as she would be traveling up and down to London.

I imagine a pattern may become clearer once they've moved to Salford.
Could Susanna's absence be because of the piloting for Salford, I wonder?
Also worth mentioning that it is Chris' last day tomorrow on Sports.
Plus today's programme used loads of great, imaginative and never before seen camera angles coming into and out of the news opts, and post titles. Most involved all the rest of the cameras on the floor in shot and the jib zooming past them. Will try to get a video sorted for you in the morning because it's really worth showing you.

Those new shots were great, added a lot more depth to the opts!

I also thought they were really nice. Especially the one that zoomed in on the camera monitor. Very nice!
I wish they'd sort out the Breakfast Westminster Studio. There always seems to be a green hue leaking in [from the green screen]around whichever person is sat in the studio; plus the "fuzz" that's more reminiscent of the cso's of the 70's & 80's. Must be one of, if not the worst on the beeb at present.
