Oh dear, how awkward was that between Charlie and Jack Whitehall? Charlie's face was certainly telling all anyway....

Excuse me ignorance, but who is Jack Whitehall? Never heard of him.

A comedian; the man who the whole of the last page of posts was about, with various clips and images of him posted.

Something funny must have happened off screen. No one would laugh that much just because their necklace fell off. They would be sent to a funny farm.

I have to say, having watched the Whitehall/Stayt/Reid 'confrontation', I really couldn't find any evidence that Charlie was annoyed. If anything, he seemed mildly amused - taking it in his stride and not getting too excited about the whole thing, rather than uncontrollably laughing on the floor. In fact, it was Charlie who invited Jack to sit between them at the end.

I realise that, sometimes, his dry sense of humour doesn't play out well. However - at the risk of being banned from this forum - I'd also rather see Charlie's dry humour than Bill Turnbull's tilting head.

I haven't noticed any problems at all on North West Tonight since their move to Salford. Does anyone know the specific nature of the problem and its possible on-screen effects?

Article from The Guardian about the possible effect of technical problems on Breakfast's move to Salford. They insist that the date they move will not be changed and that the technical issues have been exaggerated and are getting sorted out.

I think the answers are in the article you previously quoted Wink

Sounds like problems with the systems they're using behind the scenes, rather than anything directly to do with live television.
