I don't mind Susanna, she's not newsreader material but she's easy to listen to and watch and seems nice.

Could be worse, we could have Clive Myrie and Ellie Crisell on the sofa! Mr Morbid and Squeaky Mouse Lady are sure you wake you up.

Clive Myrie actually presented Breakfast a handful number of times in summer 2010, and even made it to the sofa once alongside Susanna. Hasn't been on since though!

I'd like to see Adam Parsons make some more appearances on Breakfast if he's prepared to make the journey to Salford, he was quite watchable when he presented a Sunday edition with Naga Munchetty last summer.

Can't wait for Sian to go. So so patronising, and thinks she's 20 years younger than she is. The way she pouts and preens herself is quite disgusting.

You're totally entitled to you opinion Moz, that's what the forum is for...but seriously... 'disgusting' - Truly vile in my opinion and uncalled for.

I'm surprised Sian is leaving in March. If the move is anything like BBC Sport a lot of the Breakfast team will move before the programme does so I guess there could be a few unusual faces on the show for it's last few weeks in London. If they kept Sian until the end it would have reduced the disruption

Sian Williams is likely to get a bit of a send off though. If not on screen then in the press and on TV Forum. It's better to get all that out of the way before the All New BBC Breakfast launches. If she left on a Friday and BBC Breakfast Live from Salford started on the Monday then Sian Williams' Best Bits would still be fresh in the minds of viewers and no new programme can stand up to 11 years of best bit clips.

Are we expecting new titles and music for this move to Salford? Any clue on what the backdrop/lighting will be like?

I'd be surprised if Salford didn't feature in the backdrop in some form due to the highly publicised move

The North West Today backdrop is very good in that it combines all the elements of the Quays as well as the newsroom and the swirls. Hopefully it won't be too far from this design, and it's quite colourful, bright and really quite nice to look at.

Even the BBC regions are moving towards generic newsroom backdrops from location-based backdrops - I can't imagine Breakfast will break an ever increasing trend. If Salford does feature at all, I think it will only be a vague view out of 'newsroom' windows on the screens (in the same way as the current backdrop - though that's not London).

Regarding Sian, I suspect it's also to do with establishing the 'new' team before the move to Salford (they'll probably want consistency and to underplay this move - and for that same reason I don't think we'll see any titles or graphics changes at the time of the move), and Radio 4's schedule for her. The fact that she's got her penultimate week off to take part in R4 pilots rather suggests they're eager to get on with it.
