I wonder if she will be covering until the Salford move.
Didn't the DQF state that News Channel business presenters won't exist soon and it will just be covered by the main presenters? I'm sure I read that somewhere. Could this be the same for Breakfast?

I thought that was the BBC News Channel's own proposal, not an overall BBC News policy. Does the Breakfast business presenter even do mornings on the News Channel any more? Every time I watch the NC in the morning it seems to be someone other than the Breakfast presenter.
Just noticed the Daily Mail has an interview with Susanna Reid, in which it said (in editorial, so could well still be wrong):
Quote:
Susanna... was gifted the post of main presenter on the flagship programme after Sian Williams refused to head north, a promotion that surely makes the [move] more bearable.
In the interview she also says her family are staying in London and that she'll commute to Salford, "stay[ing] over for a couple of nights a week". I do wonder, as previously suggested, if Susanna and Bill might only work a few days a week with other presenters covering the other four days.
Another article about Bill and the move to Salford. He says the studio in Salford is fantastic, and that presenting rotas are being finalised at the moment. He doesn't know whether he'll be doing 3 or 4 days at the moment.
Never knew Bill went to Eton either! A pleasant surprise. I agree with him as well; I just want it to start in Salford already. It's been a long time in the waiting.
