Oh the titles are awful, I agree, but all BBC News titles now look awful since the rebrand, as I said when it happened.

By the wat, I have noticed that when handing over to regions, the music carries on until, the crossover to regions has been completed, unlike previously when the music actually finished, before handing over.

Does this happen when the programme closes?
Does anybody have the video, of the closing of Breakfast, please?

You'll be able to see it on your television set at approximately 0915 tomorrow morning.

If you aren't near a television you can always record it, or catch it live on the BBC One website.

Isn't that pretty much a given with JJ?

You're right, the music doesn't end, it carries on going.

Have been away and I've only noticed this rebrand today. Correct me if I'm wrong (I've only skimmed) but I can't understand why in 10 pages nobody has mentioned how awful the new titles are. They look incredibly amateurish, and along with BBC Persian and the news programme on BBC Alba are clearly a p***poor attempt at imitating the Lambie Nairn titles introduced last year. Surely there can't have been much time spent on these? There are mockers on TVF who could do a far better job. The animation on end frame of the titles is particularly bad.

I feel a little inarticulate at this point because I can't think of any words to describe how shockingly BAD these titles are. Look at them! I can't understand why the discussion on this thread is focused on backdrops and bad backs.

Maybe because not everyone shares your view. In my opinion they're a definite improvement on the previous titles which looked very cheap indeed. The new titles, whilst maybe not mind-blowing, do to me seem rather more polished and less basic than the revolving sunrises.

And as for imitating the Lambie Nairn titles... do we know that Lambie Nairn haven't made these?

It was announced on this mornings programme that Sian gave birth yesterday evening to a baby girl so congratulations to her.

I could catch it at 09:15, but unfortunatly I am at school, learning things at 09:15 today. Infact at that precise time, I was in maths, learning about probability.

Good Lord! How dare you use that word ("mathematics") on this forum!!! I have just dropped my gin and tonic at the mere thought..........LOL. Only joking!

I am starting to think the same way as many others - Breakfast's (and BBC News in general) studio and general appearance is something reminiscant (spelling - apologies if wrong) of an outdated B&Q superstore!! Too much black, red and grey!! Not at all warm.

I don't mind it for the main bulletins, but Breakfast needs something a bit warmer, to be honest. Or fresher. The original days of the last set (i.e. the blue sky prior to the over-orange) was good. I will never know why they got rid of that Blue Sky set.

The same reason Sky News got rid of the globe from their titles, and the same reason why GMTV mucked up their last set, because they can't leave things alone, and backs down to a dozen complaints.

TV presentation seems to be looking cheaper and cheaper every year from all TV channels.

BBC One's idents looks and sounds like a kid's channel idents and ITV1's idents for an Entertainment channel? - its like fairy land.

The blue backdrop looked nice against the orange and red colourscheme, and just broke it up a bit.

You'll just have to wait until Easter then, won't you.

Having had to sit through two rants now about the relaunch of Breakfast, let me say that it has seemingly been far from a seamless pan regional launch. My mates have both come up with different ways of generating a clock (it appears this is a big deal in the techy world as the explanations were long and expansive!!!) but seemingly there was little or no effort from 'network' to ensure continuety. Has the BBC pulled the plug on regional programming????
