This description on the behind the scenes photos confused me a tad

TC7 also has a 'jimmy jib', although Breakfast doesn't use it. This is a small crane with a camera on the end that can shoot from high in the air and move very quickly.

They use the jib all the time on Breakfast as far as I'm aware, all the toth and opt wides use it... Why go to explaining what it is and talking about it (not pictured) when they supposedly don't use it?

Weird.

I think some of the photo descriptions look to be copied from the old behind the scenes feature on the website, and someone hasn't been bothered to update them. As long as Breakfast have been in TC7 with that studio set up they have used the jib for opt in/out and TOTH like you say. I was beginning to question myself when I read the description you included up there.

Some rather impressive detail and images on there, would be nice to see a similar thing for N6.

Oh, I apologise. I clicked on a link on the last page which led to the old version so I assumed it hadn't been posted!

Amusingly the description I mentioned above has now been changed

TC7 also has a 'jimmy jib', this is a camera on a short crane or arm that gets lots of the big sweeping wide shots we use on the programme.

Much better Smile

Sian's at the Labour Party Conference today, so If you're a fan of Carol, you'll be in for a treat after 8.30 this morning...

Will be great to see Sian reporting again. She's really strong at that. I take it Carol is co-presenting the entertainment section of the show with Bill?

She looks really natural and confident as well. I suppose the other presenting she has done is The Weather Show on BBC NC and the Great British Weather on BBC One. Quite impressive for her first go on a show like Breakfast, but obviously she would only really suit something light-hearted like this. It wouldn't be suitable for her to do the news and more serious stuff, but she could crop up one day!

I really love Carol. She's always so chipper and friendly! Will she be based in London, or move to Salford? I really hope she will be in Salford, the banter and chemistry would lack completely if she was down the line in London.

Well considering she only moved indoors around 18 months or so ago, the banter and chemistry still seemed to work when she was in the Blue Peter garden so would there be much difference if she was in London or Salford?
