I'm wondering whether or not there was more planned or created in terms of the L3s. It seems quite strange that some aspects of the L3 have been changed whilst other part haven't.
I like them. Short and sweet and visually quite nice. Very similar to the Big Breakfast (BBC 2017 version) and the Rio Olympics titles.
Respectfully I think people are getting their knickers in a twist because it was overhyped and people got a bit too excited. It was only a mini-revamp of the titles, the old titles which bar any minor amendments were getting on to nearly being 9 years old.
Will Mr and Mrs Bloggs who usually watch decide to switch over to the other side because of these "awful" titles? I'm 99.9% sure they won't.

If they did they would end up with the ranting Piers Morgan.
I must say, I'm rather dissapointed by the lack of a proper title sequence from BBC Breakfast.
Is it any shorter though than standard BBC News since they cut the titles in half in favour of a pan of the newsroom. In this day and age I don't think we should complain about shorter intros to BBC News programmes.
The titles aren't the issue - the problem is everything else is embarrassingly the same.
Just me then wound up by the completely abstract placement of place names in these graphics. It's probably been the case across BBC News for a decade but now I've noticed I can't unsee it.
