Unless I was imagining it some or all of this morning's 6am hour came from studio E in Broadcasting House, rather than from Salford. (I was drifting in and out of sleep.) From 7am onwards it was from Salford. Is this normal for Breakfast at the weekend or just a Covid-19 related change?

Hmmm. Will take a look when it’s on IPlayer but not normal at all unless they’ve changed this since CV changes kicked in, but if that were the case it would have been mentioned. Who was presenting?

If it was the same as last week, the back half of the first hour was a 'Coronavirus: What You Need To Know' special from Studio E but the first half hour was normal Breakfast. It struck me as pre recorded because if they were going to get somebody to do the links live, they may as well have done is from Salford.

This week it was presented by Victoria Derbyshire the previous week I think it was Joanna Gosling and the week before that was Victoria again.

It was Annita McVeigh last week

Yes and I very much doubt Victoria/Joanna/Annita or anyone would want to go into work on a Saturday morning just for a 1 hour shift, especially at the moment!

First time I've caught the Green Goddess segment on BBC Breakfast this morning.

Notice a certain returning logo.

Surprised Piers Morgan hasn't tweeted that BBC Breakfast is coming close to being beaten in the ratings by Good Morning Britain now.

Given he’s been criticising Trump for boasting about his ratings at this moment in time, I think it would be a little hypocritical.

Could someone post those ratings? I couldn't find anything in GMB thread.

GMB got 869k yesterday and 24.6%.

Based on recent performances, Breakfast likely to be around 1.3m and 35-39%, which is low for it.

Even based on your estimates GMB is nowhere near close to beating Breakfast.
