Also, is it just me, or does the Breakfast title playout seem really muffled? I've noticed it's only happened since they plonked the "TRIC Award Winner 2006" thingy on top of it that it's sounded so weird.

And if we pay attention to what Nicky said - the name was already mentioned - so it won't be Katie.

So, to reiterate, the chief suspects are...

1. Jon Nicholson: He's worked there before and got the short straw at ITV NC.
2. Rob Butler: The FIVE thing
3. Penny Smith: Her BBC-based popularity plus definite female lineup changes (On the male side, it's just speculation, but NK leaving opens up the whole Sian/Mishal/Kate/somebody else can of worms)

Hmmm...........this is a great game. Someone above said "It's Rob Butler ", but we've all decided to ignore it and still continue to guess.

So, to keep things fresh and to fit in with this theme, I personally think it may be Rob Butler , or even Rob Butler . But, then again, it could also be Rob Butler . Stranger things have happened.

Or, what about the rank outsider........... Rob Butler ???

God Almighty, it's not Kirsty Young, is it? By jove Nicky. What a palaver.

I am going to ring the BBC and ask them who the new presenter is on Breakfast. Standby folks. (Whats the number, Nicky?)

BBC Information on 08700 100 222 probably won't know.

They're not a new full time presenter - don't get over excited. Just a new face that you've not seen on Breakfast before.

One of the original suggestions was Nicky himself, which has yet to be denied...
