Media Boy says that as from Thursday there will be no English regional news at Breakfast on BBC2 analogue. Therefore, I'm slightly confused because SLS is a regional show in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire which is broadcast on BBC2 analogue.

Not all English regions can opt on all platforms on BBC Two, so there will be no English regions opts. The decision could have been made to have opts for all English regions that can opt, but that is not the decision that was made (unless this changes between now and Thursday Smile).

Its been confirmed that Analogue and Digital Nations, along with Analogue Regions WILL opt, and TC7 will sustain the Digital Regional service - oh and expect a change of format at 0600 from tomorrow! Wink

That's an utterly splendid photo. Well done for digging that one out. Incidentally, my mum had almost exactly the same hairdo in the early 80s.

Sorry to be boring, but just out of interest, is that capture from a six o'clock news bulletin or an early evening weekend bulletin?

It could even be a Saturday Breakfast bulletin or a Saturday lunchtime bulletin as all the weekend bulletins came from that set.

It was either a weekend lunchtime or early evening bulletin, Joe, or a Bank Holiday lunchtime or early evening bulletin.
