When was this, I don't think the BBC would let two females (or two males) present the a news pregramme. If a news programme is presented by two people it's usually a man and a woman. Confused

They did - during the summer 2004.

Plus, in the 2000-2002 period, there were a few occasions where Sophie Raworth presented with either Sian Williams or Tanya Beckett. In fact, there may be a clip of Sophie and Sian on InformativosTV (www.zabalo.com/informativostv).

Dermot and Natasha do have that chemistry. I could see them as a married couple.

The kind of married couple that don't like each other any more? Come on, they hardly ever interact with each other, and when Dermot tries to, Natasha just seems a bit embarassed and flounders, swiftly trying to move on to the next item.

Admittedly though the worst Breakfast pairing was the one-off Natasha and Mishal Hussein 'double-act'. I've never known such a frosty atmosphere on a TV programme. At one point they were actually sat facing away from each other.

The most amusing bit of Natasha and Mishal presenting together was when the had a snake in the studio and Natasha was practically sitting on Mishal's lap. Mishal did not look too pleased about that.

What's happened to Mishal these days?

She presented World's review didn't she?

I did like her with Bill.

What's World's Review and when was the last time she appeared on Breakfast because I haven't seen her for ages?

Mishal was on maternity leave wasn't she?

I think she probably still is. It's easier to come in to record a few intro's for a programme than present for 3 hours live.

Look at this clip about Behind the Scenes at BBC Breakfast News with Dermot and Natasha, the link is below. If you don't call this chemistry, I don't know what is!

Sorry, but it all seems a bit false and put-on to me. I guess we're not going to agree on this one.

Whilst on the subject of Mishal Hussein, I saw her introducing a programme called 'After The Election' late on News 24 a couple of evenings ago. Incidentally it struck me how much she looks like 'Mad' Maya Sharma from Corrie.

Words from Natasha's own lip-glossed mouth...

I couldn't add anything to that!

To be fair to La Kaplinski, she was interviewing her own father and found it an unnerving experience.

Not that I'm usually the one to be fair...

Yes, we are gonna agree to disagree on this one. I remember one person on this forum accused them of flirting too much. That's what I call chemistry. Unless you have some inside info Spencer, then I will believe that they genuinely get on.
