Chris Hollins has become quite a watchable fixture on Breakfast - his style is suited to the programme.
Indeed James. He seems very layed back and certainly suitable for Breakfast.
I also notice how much Francis Collins now seems to be flourishing over on the 24 hour thing. He really seems to be becoming more "social". There again he is with Big Al, so how can he go wrong?
I'd also, at this juncture, like to say how much more watchable Breakfast has becoming without Twedle Dum and (to a degree) Dee, by which I'm refering to Tash and Crouch.
Still can't help thinking, though, once Breakfast moves to N24's studio there should be a fundermental re-think in structuring the programme, like a few of you have already said on the previous web page in the book of TVF's Breakfast Thread.
Yes, Shakespeare doth arrive on the screens this start of the week as the dew begins to set and the sun retires.
Big mistake this morning, repeatedly referring to jagged little pill as alanis morissette's debut album. She released two debbie gibson like pop albums before then, but appears to have disowned them.

But never let the facts get in the way of a good script!

This is actually something of a thorny old chestnut. Technically you're quite right - she did release some stuff in Canada prior to Jagged Little Pill. But for some reason, that I've never seen adequately explained, her record company referred to it as a debut. On some technical level (perhaps as it was her first American release?) it's often called her debut. I think she won various awards for 'Best Debut Album'.
I don't quite understand the whys and wherefores of it all - but I think it's a perfectly reasonable mistake for Breakfast to make, considering.
OK. OK. I gotta admit it....................here in BBC World and BBC Prime land, we don't get to see too much of your regular presenters from BBC1 and N24. However, don't shoot me for what I am about to say - I actually think that Natahsa Kaplinsky is great!!!
I watched her on Children in Need on BBC Prime, and on Saturday night, she presented Striclty Come Dancing on BBC Prime again (you guys saw this a year ago.......we are just getting it now).
She was fabulously good, elegant and took it all in her stride. She really WAS good!!
So, I guess what I am saying, is that she should give up the News altogether, and concentrate on becoming the next Jill Dando, with a proper crossover into LE.
Good to see the presenters and crew being productive with scripts today, turning them into paper aeroplanes.
Probably the most useful thing for the script this morning! . They really did drag that item out far longer than was necessary......and then they sent the 3 lads into the garden during the weather bulletin to try to pad that out abit.......talk about a slow news day

Prehaps that was why for the 6:30am news bulliten there wasn't a camera ready for the start, with it still being set to the Breakfast Breifing angle.
Moira is great doing the "Breakfast Briefing", why can't they let her co-present the rest of the programme sometimes. I remember recently she carried on with Dermot one morning because Natasha was late (she didn't start until 8am) and Moira worked well with Dermot.
EDIT: I do wish Natasha would stop saying "have a nice weekend" at the end of Thursday's programme! Most people work a 5 day week (or more) and there is no need to
brag
that she works only 4 days a week for shed-loads of money

Actually Natasha was ill and Sian arrived at 7.00 to present; Dermot and Moira were only on together for half an hour but I agree they seemed to get on well and I think she would be good. Why don't they let Moira co-present a weekend edition several of the other newsbelt readers have done this: Kate Sanderson, Gillian Joseph, Sarah Campell etc.
