I'm going into work early on saturday so i'll miss it. shame
The extra few hours sleep being missed is a shame, David Eades isn't.

He is out of place in the bulletin that he currently does, so putting him on Breakfast where he will require to have even more interaction with his fellow presenter, will be an even more bizarre choice!
Being in the UK this week, I managed to watch most of Breakfast Thursday and Friday. I thought that Bill and Natasha made a good pairing on Thursday, and the on screen banter about Bill's chickens was hilarious.
Louisa Preston at the newsdesk - who is she?

BBC London presenter. Their currently looking at different options for the newsdesk, oh course Moira will remain but for Thursday and Fridays updates. There was even talk of another regional presenter filling in...
Sian and Bill on Friday were far more "animated" than I've seen the pair in ages. Real surprise.

They'll have to tone it down a bit this week, as they're both on the 6. Bill's on it all week and Sian is on with him on Friday.

Stale? James, their positivly rotten, dropped off and been mauled by the family pet.
There are fleeting moments when they seem to work but then we get this reverbation back to HRT Man and Dippy Autocue reader.
Both work excellently when on their own, or with different pairings but when together their terrible. Bit like Father and Daughter.
Geogre should go back to BBC Four/World and Sophie should be setting the alarm clock.
But this does pose another, far more serious question. If Sophie were to move, could be ready for a Kaplinsky 6?

I also saw the Six this week - George and Sophie appear to be very stale now.

Yes, I agree entirely. Very sad to see.
Watched Weekend 24 today (or Breakfast, or whatever it is called), and good old Noel Thompson (one of Sophie's former news partners) was on with Kate Silverton. I remember Noel of old, but I just got the feeling today that he was trying just too hard to be chatty and friendly............they ended the bulletin with a Two Ronnies-esque farewell, a la "it's goodbye from me, and it's goodbye from me................."
Kate Silverton was rambling on about how slim her boyfriend has become and how he can now fit into a size 33 jeans! I was trying to imagine what Hayton's reaction would have been to that statement........I can now see why that pair were not an ideal match.
Moira had yet ANOTHER backdrop today on Sunday AM. And it appeared to be live too - as we could see the Heathrow Express or the Tube snaking its way thorugh the gaps in the buildings!
Good old Moira.

Quote from Media Guardian this morning:-
"News 24 sports presenter Chris Hollins is to take up a new role on BBC Breakfast. Chris will take over from Rob Bonnet later this month, fronting the sports news on the BBC1 morning show."
Rob's done the sport in the morning for years, I wonder where he'll go now?
