Max Foster did the Breakfast news round-up several times. Shame he was bloody awful at it.

I don't remember him... I remember Asad Ahmed, he was very good.

But now, it seems all they need is a pretty face, same with GMTV's newshour bulletins.

I agree with the comment about Max Foster. When he did the bulletin, he seemed cold and as though he wanted to get it done as soon as possible. The last thing you need in the morning - feeling rushed.

I hope to God it's not Gordon Burns!!!

Who else could it be from the North West? There's Fiona Trot (who did do a few stints on News 24 about 18 months ago), Ranvir Singh or perhaps Annabel Tiffin. I'd like to see Annabel on Breakfast.

I haven't seen Tina for ages. I think she has left.

Won't it be safe to say that it will be a presenter from a region where they aren't used much? Maybe Helen Philpot from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire or John Boyd from Yorkshire!
I somehow doubt it and I've got a feeling that it will end up being a woman. I still think it would make more sense having a sports roundup at the same time and have the sports presenter doing the lot.

She'd be very good at it if is her. Although it might mean her leaving MT. I doubt she could do both at the same time.

I wasn't suggesting her - I don't know who she is - I'm telling you who it's going to be.
