Out of interest if a presenter suddenly falls ill who covers? I know the person on the newsdesk has covered before but with it always being a woman and say Dermot fell ill would Moira (on the newsdesk) present with Natasha or would Rob Bonnet (sport) cover? Alternatively would the N24 presenters cover or would the presenter just go solo?

Sophie is due middle of December, so would imagine she goes on maternity leave 2nd or 3rd week of November depending on how she feels.

I'm always intrigued as to why this woman seems to incite such negative reactions in people. Personally, I could take her or leave her. She's a competent if uninspiring newsreader - moderately attractive, but nothing special. Yet some people truly loathe her. I've always wondered why.
