Watching today it looks like Louise Minchin is going to be Sian's stand in.

Kate is standing in Sian, but you will also see Louise Minchin and Jon Sopel pop up from time to time over the next few months.

Interesting to hear Jon will 'pop up' as I've always thought he'd do well on Breakfast! Very Happy

Well its hardly a first for Jon...presented ad hoc in the late 1990s and on the early years of Breakfast...think it was '03 or '04 the last time I recall him presenting.

Hes such a good all rounder too!

When you say Jon will be popping up do you mean standing in for Bill or is there going to be an all male partnership with him alongside Bill?

I say this every time presenter rotas come up, but I highly doubt Jules will present (was it two years since the last time?), especially not on a regular basis. Out of interest, where is she these days? I've not seen her around for ages.

She left Breakfast quite some time ago - she now co-presents the Breakfast programme on BBC Radio Kent - Clicky here

That explains that then. Thanks for the info.

Now that would be a good partnership and I'm sure they would be able to combine the serious news and some good banter particularly well together.

I think it was Easter 2003 when Jon last did some presenting for Breakfast.

It's Jon and Louise from Monday.

Kate will be covering the one for Sophie a few days next week while she is covering on the Six and Ten for Fiona.

Just a minor observation... Saturday morning's Breakfast was using the orange clock, as used during the week, today on BBC One. The news channel had the usual BBC News DOG and clock, although still no ticker.

Is Sonia Deol pregnant?

She looked it this morning.

Same thing happened last weekend, too. Now all they need to do is get the background sorted!

Dunno about pregnant, but she was irritating.

"It's ten after eight".

No it's not - it's ten minutes past eight, you illiterate moron. Don't Americanise my news for me.
