Today was Sian's last day on Breakfast until after her maternity leave. (I just caught the end where Carol and Bill gave her some flowers)

Does anyone know if a replacement for her has been announced?

The BBC Website is carrying an apology for the "gaffe" and also makes references to a stunned Susanna Reid who "gasped in amazement at the broadcast".

James, who will be the replacement for Susanna, in your opinion? Is it likely to be a combination of Susanna and Louise, perhaps? I am not even sure if Kate Silverton is still at the BBC in fact. And, without access to the Radio Times over here, I am not even sure who they are listing as the replacement.

If I was to be a regular viewer, I would like to see Jules Botfield as the replacement for Sian. Or perhaps the BBC would consider pairing Bill up with his dancing partner from Strictly!! Bill could do the serious stuff and the dancing lady could do the fluff............

Can you tell I have been at the Scotch.........?
