Is Adam Shaw still taking over as the main business presenter on Breakfast or has the role been given to Simon Jack?

I've noticed Simon Jack presenting most of the business segments at the moment with Aaron Hesselhurst cropping up every now and then, this since Declan left gaining the now customary tea pot.

Going back to the earlier discussion, with Sian off again I'd suspect Kate Silverton will take over as the main presenter considering she doesn't have a news role at the moment and she seems to have the right sort of characteristics for Breakfast. The only other thing I could see happening is Susannah Reid presenting with relief presenters such as Sonia Djeol covering over the weekend.

Personally I'd like to see Julia George back presenting, but, IIRC, she hasn't presented since 2004, and definitely not since she has been married.

Julia presented some shifts in summer 2006 when Sian was off on maternity leave. I seem to remember a few Friday-Sunday shifts, with Bill and Michael Peschardt (the latter being when News 24 was in N6 over a weekend while maintenance was being carried out in N8.)

Yes, I definetely recall Julia doing weekend relief shifts on Breakfast during Sian's leave, as well as some shifts on the news channel before she went off on maternity leave herself.

Come to think of it I do recall at least once Sunday morning when she presented Breakfast and a few cover shifts on the then News 24.

Julia definitely did some presenting on the News Channel's weekend evening shift with either Chris Lowe, Brian Hanrahan or Charlie Stayt around late 2006. I think this was around the time when Annita McVeigh took over this shift from Joanna Gosling.

Was good to have Kate Silverton on this morning, and it's obvious that Bill and Kate work well together. Personally I hope Kate is drawn in to cover Sian's maternity.

I think there has always been some confusion between 5Live breakfast/BBC Breakfast as previously mentioned on air before.

The old one was breakfast-tv@bbc.co.uk I think.

What was the previous email address? When the programme launched in October 2000, it was breakfasttv@bbc.co.uk. Had it changed since then?

Oh, without the dash then - it was the same until this change, although they didn't give it out on air, they sent you to a form on the website.
