I wonder if they've just got to add in a bit of extra 'padding' to make up the time normally taken by the regional news.
Well they only take about 20 seconds over it, just a very brief summary.

I always thought they did the headlines at every xx15 and xx45 until after 0830 when it becomes entertainment news and NC opts out?

Well if they did I wouldn't have mentioned it would I. They never did headlines at 8.15 before, just a coming up bit before the weather.

They were both presenting the other day when I was watching.
Charlie & Suzanna have done Mon - Thurs last week, and Mon & Tue so far this week. Bill & Sian have not been sen on Breakfast since the day before the olympics opening ceremony.

Yeah, as I said. So, does anyone know why they haven't presented during the games? N24 not primetime enough for them. I'd be interested to know how the viewing figures for Breakfast have been whilst it has been on N24. Anyone know ?

Cock-up at the end of the 8.55am update in the NE & Cumbria, the presenter said goodbye, then a wide shot of the studio stayed on for a minute or two. Did this happen to any other regions or a local fault?
