Was watching News 24 when the change happened, there went the clock with a red background small font, to an orange background with a slightly bigger font.

Uh... no it didn't. Even if I hadn't seen it for myself, there's caps & video above to prove otherwise...

I think he ment, the old clock with small font and red box had been replaced with an orange clock and larger font, on BBC Breakfast...

Ah. He garbled it then, because it sounded like they'd started with red and only went orange after a couple of minutes...

Bill & Sian are having their portrait done today, it's also meant for some wider camera angles today going into regional news, which in showing the painter has also shown the other desk. Anyone catch Chris around 7:35am making bunny ears (is that the right term?) behind Sian, as part of banter related to him not in the painting.

Does Breakfast still use the desk, or does all the programme come from the sofa now?

The whole programme comes from the sofa area.

Always thought the sofa was the other end of the studio - certainly was originally in the other studio.

It was on the other side in N6, but in TC7 their new home they have always angled the cameras to give the illusion its on the other side as well.

More angles like that would be great. Why they don't use that desk, especially at the top of the programme when it relaunched is strange, it does make it seem more of a news programme, and makes it different to GMTV.

Either that, or get Moira back doing updates from the desk.

Wouldn't it be better if they used the studio in the shame way as NBC Today, presenting from the desk and using the sofa for interviews, etc?

Chris Hollins appears to have presented Breakfast this morning. Some movement away from the desk as well using the corner with a guest in with their dog.
