Sian is FAR too mumsy and condescending. I recall her language and tone in the programmes where both Moira and latterly Dermot left the programme. You will find these on Youtube.

Sian's voice in both cases was reminiscent of Pookie and Schmoo squeakiness.

Not what I want to hear over Breakfast, thank you.

Grow-up, woman!

I do like Sian and feel she is a good presenter being sufficiently light enough for the morning but able to carry authority with the serious stories.

She can be a bit 'mumsy' though, especially when Moira left and then her surprise - 'who's going to read the news now? It'll be us!'

I really like Sian and always have done. She has an excellent onscreen rapport with her co-presenters, studio guests and the audience. She can handle anything from serious news stories to the lightest of fluff. For someone who was originally behind the scenes and (from what I gather) never intended to make the transition to in front of the cameras, she is remarkably good.

Loved Carol Kirkwood's trip with The Red Arrows this morning. Good report with all the required features wrapped up in two minutes.

Ben Geoghagen doing Breakfast this weekend according to RT and Sonia Deol will also be back on Sunday. Has Geoghagen ever done Breakfast before?

And yet strangely nervy and wooden and stumbling despite his experience from some years ago.

Indeed he is. Announced by Susannah at the end of today's programme. It suggests that Ben will be presenting with Susannah.

I hope not. I seem to recall she came across as shouting last time she was on (unless I'm confusing her with the other woman that presented around the same time. I remember one was good the other wasn't.)

What a dire presenter line up this morning, Ben stumbling and wooden and Sonia shouthing in a piercing voice. No way to be eased into a Sunday morning.

Yep, absolutely awful. The paper review I saw this morning just before Match of the Day was abysmal - the two seemed to have no idea what they were saying.
