Who was the female presenter on Breakfast this morning?

She's fab.

It was Susanna Reid. She's usually presenting each Friday-Sunday.

Well she's just super.

I wouldn't get too excited, she just announced on national TV that she had to wear socks in bed last night because it was so cold Confused

I do like her though.

So the likes of poor old Moira could be a casualty of broadcasters "running scared"? As sorry reflection of the wider state of TV these days?

Sorry to sound a little harsh, but among all the frenzied speculation about why Moira was pushed, nobody has dared discuss the fairly obvious point that a lot of people don't think she was actually a very good newsreader. It's even in "White Teeth" somewhere, about how she mumbled and swallowed her words!

I think you will find that it's not just Moira fans who remember her for perfect pronunciation!

The sport guy is co-presenting the proper news on Breakfast today.

They should never let sports people present the "proper" news. These sports people are not "proper" journalists.

I thought Chris Hollins did quite well, he's on all week. I wish they'd let Declan Curry have a crack at the main programme. I bet he would be very good!

But he is very famillier with breakfast after spending 4 years on it as a sports presenter he seems to be fine.

Chris hasn't spent four years on the programme as Rob Bonnett was still around at that time. I think Chris has been there for about two years now.

Still nice to see him given a chance at the main programme - personally I think he's alright but nothing special. Declan Curry is someone I'd like to see present the programme.

Chris has done a great job this week.

Its nice having a different presenter now and again and Chris has a personality unlike some of them.

the atmosphere of the programme is different for the better and he and Sian make a great team. Louise is very good too.
