Claire Marshall making her first appearance on Breakfast this weekend, presumably a last minute stand in for Louise Minchin, who was down to do it in the RT but is instead at an airbase waiting for the return of Prince Harry. Claire's doing a decent job for saying she's last minute, though she seems a little nervous.
Seems they've stopped already, just saw one fade on and off as usual. Hopefully Breakfast will be getting completely new graphics with the revamp.
By the way rfrancis...in your signature is that word supposed to be 'fluently'? I could read everything else but that, ironically, cos fluently only has one 'e'! Just thought you might like to know!

I didn't think it was a permanent thing. Lucky I was doing some capturing at the time.

Yeah, it's meant to be fluently. At least someone noticed!
Whatever Breakfast does, I hope it is designed to fit with News 24's ticker and clock, so its not so clumsy come 6:00am. Also, will News 24 continue with a breakfast look in the mornings after they switch from simulcast at 8:30? or just go headlong into the News 24 look (whatever that will be...)

Well as they will continue to come form different studio's there is no reason not to keep the current set up of changing back to News 24 style at 8.30 is there.
Walking to the office just now I noticed an OB van outside the coffee shop at Spitalfields market, and looking through the windows there was Declan Murray .

Something to do with the Budget, I guess?
Or perhaps Declan Murray was just in to buy a Curry!
