Why? It looks less cluttered, but it seems off centered.

What is their obsession with Come Dancing? It's on every morning seemingly. Gets on my nerves.

Breakfast News
Was reading, think it was Media Monkey, that Breakfast has slipped behind in the ratings battle with GMTV, and there was a suggestion that they should ditch the *soft focus on news* as they put it.

With Demot's departure less than a month away, you'd think we'd get word on a replacement on the couch. Should we assume that the fact that nothing's been announced, they have their sights set on somebody and that this doesn't bode well for Billl?

Surely the lack of announcement so far would indicate Bill rather than an outsider? If they'd poached someone from outside the BBC then they'd make a big song and dance about it. If it is an internal promotion it would most likely just get a press release on the BBC website prior to the event.

I think if it was an outsider we'd have got a press release by now, as when Nicholas Owen defected to the BBC we got one about two or three months before he actually first appeared on News 24.

My original post of this was a while ago and meant to be a joke!

Actually it's 2 pieces of the 3-part sofa which are shown. The missing part was because they had either a correspondent or an interviewee who was in a wheelchair and it allowed her to go right next to Dermot.

Like GMTV's obsession with I'm A Celebrity.

But GMTV isn't a news programme. It's also on ITV, so what just what their clientelle expects. BBC viewers should get better.
