Does anyone know if Breakfast is doing away with the bulletin reader for the rest of the election campaign, or was this morning a one-off?

I hope not. It would be good to see Moira involved in the Breakfast Election programmes (Don't attack me, this is just my opinion).

Probably just today as Natasha wouldn't have had anything much to do if Moria had been there. Seeing as Dermot's back in the studio tomorrow, the 'bulletin reader' should be back.

I can vagely remember Adrian doing a weekend - but never a weekday - it would have been great to see him in the main set. Anyone else know, or remember this?

I think that Moira definitely needs a more substantial role in Breakfast, 24 years reading the news for the BBC and they stick her behind that desk for a few mins at a time...

Returning to "Breakfast"...
Are we to expect any format/pres changes for the election, edited titles, no news summary, more lives and venue change?

2001 worked well, the titles worked nice and the set was brilliant. This time (May5/6th) I think it would be a good idea to move Breakie out of the current set and have it come from the Westminister studio, or do like the National has done and have the lead (Dermot) in Westminster and Natasha in the studio with Moira?

Or have Dermot in Westminster and Moira alone in the Studio.

As much as I would like Dermot and Natasha to present the Election morning results edition of Breakfast, I don't think they will because it is on a Friday.

Some people have suggested that Dermot and Natasha might present on Friday 6th May as a one off because it is such a major event, but I really don't think that will be the case and it will probably be Bill and Sian because Bill and Sian are presenting Breakfast tomorrow (Friday 8th April) which is the same day as the Pope's funeral which is one of the most major events of all time.

As I said before, I would really like Dermot and Natasha to present Breakfast on Election results morning, but I don' t think it's going to happen.
