I hate orange but breakfast is not an all desk programe.i also said they should get orange chairs the same shape as film 24.

by the way have they ever had a sofa in the pod Confused:

they did take that large awful sofa they had in their final TC7 set down and put in the second screen area at Christmas a few years back. Looked rather good.

they could do that at weekends, they could move it down straight after breakfast on friday so there is need to hire staff at weekends, leave it down in N8 and assemble it in the pod in the early hours off saturday morning surley the crew in N8 could put 3 pices of sofa together Exclamation

The size is a problem though. With the last sofa variant they had to have two pieces opposite each other with the Sunday AM desk in the middle. Even now with the current sofa, I think it would be too large to fit into the pod.

Yeah, but who is going to alter the lighting, you'd have to pay whoever brings it down to N8 and who ever assembles. Also where could you store the sofa?

Just take the answer you've been given multiple times, they will never do it, so stop going on about it.

Watched Weekend Breakfast for the first time this morning in ages.

The graphics are awful...a mish mash of News24 and Breakfast...horrible!

Why can't they just use one or the other?! News 24 takes Breakfast's graphics during the week, so why not at the weekend?

The half cut off ticker with straps above looks really awful.

At a guess, the Breakfast style graphics aren't available on the N8 systems.

I just noticed that big frame thing they have around the screen on the BBC Newsline updates on Breakfast and it has weather forecasts for 4 towns/cities.

Do they never realise that Northern Ireland isn't that big and the forecast is more or less the same everywhere?

... although there can be regional variations - the west gets a lot more rain than the east coast, the temperature difference between, say, Armagh and the north coast is usually a few degrees.

Woke up bleary eyed just before the end of Breakfast today and noticed that there was a new end cap...instead of "BBC Breakfast - BBC News", just had the BBC News logo with the orange stripey bit, but above the logo...just wondered were there any other graphics changes?

strange dressing up just now at Ascot. Sports Chris and Weather Carol looking like an odd married couple!!

Liked the use of 2 cameras for the "now the news & sport where you are". Don't think Breakfast's Sport & Weather team have done that junction of the programme before - together.
