I agree, especially if its the same size as the boxes, and lower-case. As the above post said, it does look much weaker in lower-case.

I think that both versions have been around since the relaunch. I do remember some talk initially about the two versions saying BBC NEWS and BBC News, which was the first sign of inconsitency of the programme.

I like the use of the BBC regions this morning, with them passing to different parts of the country, to see how the snow is affecting different areas, giving local travel reports etc. If only they did this more often.

Bizarrely, the closing title sequence included the

logo within the vortex/sunrise animation, but the

logo on the endcap. Tiresome.

Am I the only one who doesn't like this show anymore? When I look back on greats such as Frank Bough and Selina Scott, John Stapleton, Nicholas Witchell and others, and now look at the 'oh-so-worthy' Dermot Murnaghan, 'I'm so great' Kate Silverton, the stuttering Susanna Reid, the charisma-free Bill Turnbull, and 'I'm so beautiful' Charlie Stayt it actually brings a tear to my eye Sad

Couldn't disagree, less to be honest. For me they make the programme interesting as well as informative to watch. Lets face it, it's either BBC Breakfast or the incoherant Fiona Phillips and the other bloke I don't even know the name of, but her looks about 12, over on GMTV.

Granted, I know my opinion isn't that valid as I wasn't around in the days when you say these 'greats' were around, but I think the programme has some damn fine presenters at the moment. I really do adore some of them, but I won't go into that, I'll get laughed at.

So Michael Peschardt's back. I was surprised to see him on this morning though I presume he's back to cover over the half term week. I do quite like his presentation style and think he does alright on the infrequent times he presents Breakfast.

Susanna commented yesterday in the programme that Michael was here for a few days. It came up when he was commenting on the lovely weather over on the other side of the world.

Kate S is a really good presenter - miss her off N24 with Simon (great duo)
Natasha K needs to put a few more hours in - 30 min per 5 day week for her salary is ridiculous compared to the lengthy shifts Maxine & Jane do. Having said that I do think she's a very credible presenter. I also think the lack of 'live tv' she does has made her stale and up herself. Does anyone think when her contract's renewed which is around about now it will require her to do N24 shifts? If not it should !!

Natasha generally does five days a week nopw doesn't she? Surely that is a full time week when you consider the preparation involved.

I don't understand what you mean by Natasha's lack of 'live tv' I've watched every programme she's done for the last few years and all of the have been live, Eurovision, CIN, VE Day, Breakfast, Six O'clock... all live!

I don't think she would be seen dead on N24, to be honest.

Oh God, yeah! Looking forward to Sian coming back!

Funny that, she did it last year.

She already has been on there and is supposed to be appearing, along with Sophie Raworth, on a regular basis...
