On her website, 5th photo along (the bottom picture of the two) Kate is standing above none other than current CBB housemate Cleo Rocos. It's a small world afterall.

Jon Sopel is a bit of a rebel on the quiet isnt he! First talking about stealing pampers, and now looking drunk on Kate's website lol.

Yes, I noted that too - unsober** Sopel and a coy McCoy.

**said for effect, not true at all.

And if I'm not mistaken, legendary Playschool presenter, Floella Benjamin is in the same photo. Very Happy

Same as BBC News 24.... With BBC News on the logo and no ticker. Same straps and everything.

They did note the complaints about the new system.

Well the clock was in the same area as normal News 24. Right at the very edge of the screen in 14:9 and cut off totally in 4:3

Fortunately only the first number was cut off for me on analogue, which will always be a 0 for Breakfast. I wish they could move it all over though, or even have the clock on the right hand side of the DOG, with the DOG moving slightly left (halfway between edge and the current position).

Nonsense. It's nice to see someone with some style and not looking like the frumpy tarts most people on BBC News seem to be. Give her a break - she's young and actually dresses in a manner suitable for her age and her job. It's not offensive. It's not distracting in a set that's bright orange. Leave her alone I say!

STYLE!!! it looks like something Ivy Tilsley would have worn in Corrie way back when.

She has a very interesting site. Someone obviously keeping it bang up to date with what she's up to. Lots on there about where she was over Xmas, what bulletins she presented prior to, and upon her return.

more at Kate Silverton

Back to fashion.....if you glance through her gallery, it's clear to see she has an eye for that kind of blouse or pattern. hehe.

I have to say that I am a fan of Kate - but not off her fashion sense.
I can just see it now - a What Not To Wear special with Kate Silverton - Micha and Lisa would at least be more subtle than Trinny and Susannah!! I can remember the one they did with Sophie a few years ago.
I think Sophie's dress sense is great - the best of the female offerings on the network news Smile

Sadly I have 4:3 or 16:9 so I aint gonna get the clock according to BBC Newswatch. However, I am getting used to it now.
I suppose while most are saving for HD and Sky Plus etc - I am one of the few still saving for a proper widescreen - so I cannot grumble too much - hey ho.

Maybe they should swap the 'BBC News' and the clock round?

So only 16:9 viewers can see 'BBC News', 4:3 viewers see 'News'.

See how they like it then Laughing
