Disaster!
I've been waiting for over two years to see Jules presenting again and have missed her by going away for the week over the past two weekends. Is she going to be presenting again?
As for the use of a N24 background in N6 for Breakfast, I thought it was a good attempt but it doesn't look quite right with the large red and white panels separating it. It wasn't that bad though.

Anyone see the rather bizarre break after Breakfast on BBC One? It started with a trailer as usual but these trails were interrupted numerous times by a shot of the Breakfast studio where various people were walking around - Bill was taking off his mic etc. After this had happened a few times this was replaced by just the BBC Breakfast logo which was replaced by a BBC One menu for tonight. The ident was then interrupted in the same way followed by the start of 'To Buy or Not to Buy'. Oddly the continuity announcer was absent throughout.

She's on News 24 with Matthew now.

She should be on again between 1.30 & 2.00.

I noticed that as well; not what I was expecting at all! I guess that it was down to automation problems though it was nice to see the Breakfast studio after the programme had finished where the camera had lowered itself back to the floor and all the technical crew coming into the studio. I think this highlights the problems with not having live continuity.
As for Julia George - damn I missed her again! She may be a permanent cover presenter, however, if she was on N24, baring in mind the likes of Sarah Campbell have yet to grace the screens of N24.

Presumably N6 realised that they had been put back to air by accidentally and cut up the Breakfast logo, then pres went to the menu caption.

Hardly a great pity though, I didn't really rate Sarah as a newsreader when she was on Breakfast filling in for Moira

I don't think anyone does TBH! She's alright but others are far more superior both with personality and skill, such as Moira and Jules.

No one will be able to convince me that the guy in the blue shirt and blue jeans' job involves anything other than perusing Ms Reid's posterior

I remember people saying that its actualy a grey material, and these marks just scrub off. Apparently. Cant be that hard to do it every week or something, just to keep it looking neat. They need to start from scratch with aligning those screens, its awful, and TC7 is perfect pretty much.
