For some reason, today's interview with Andrew Lloyd Webber was filmed in 4:3.

You dont have sole control of the threads you create you know - as someone clearly stated to BanksOriginal - but i guess its one rule for one and one rule for another

Joanna Gosling! I hope not - she will send everyone to sleep! On the other hand it will be nice to see Michael Peschardt come back, if he does.
Strange line-up so far this week:
Mon and Tues - Bill Turnbull and Kate Silverton
Weds and Thurs - Dermot and Sian
Friday - Bill and Kate

Well Sian did the Six yesterday and will again on Friday (with Natasha!) and this week is her last before her maternity leave.

So presumably Kate is going to step in for her whilst on maternity leave - so who would fill her in on News 24: Rachel Schofield, Karin, Carrie?

Nice presentation leading into the regional news at 08.55 this morning. Dermot and Sian were talking about the auction of Star Trek memorabilia and after many puns Sian said 'beam me up Scotty' to which two red lines appeared (simulating the transporter off of Star Trek) and Dermot and Sian were 'beamed up' leaving an empty studio. The usual camera was then used on the opt out showing an empty sofa with a picture of Spock on the wall.
It looked quite good IMO, though it would be interesting to know how they did it.

For those who missed it this morning here are a few caps of the end of today’s programme (Sian’s last before her maternity leave).

Sian looks totally embarassed by the whole event.

Dermot and Chris reading out e-mails of good wishes.

I thought it was nice the way they finished the program today. It will be strange not having sian on breakfast for a while.

Did anybody get the clip before the regional news at 8:55, when they got beamed off the sofa because it's star trek's 40 year anniversary?

Thanks in advance Laughing Laughing
