I love Jules' hat, if i connected that up to my satbox i reckon i could get a signal from the Hotbird satellite with it.

That's the only time you'll hear me use the term hotbird and Jules Botfield in the same sentence. Smile

I didn't see this yesterday, but it looks like it was quite amusing...

Pour show for TV Helen

It always seems to happen to her. Remember the man dressed as a mouse when she was broadcasting from the South Bank? I don't suppose anyone knows if there's a clip anywhere of yesterday's incident..

Yes she said so this morning. She made a joke about being 'roly-poly' in her current condition and Sian said 'from one roly-poly to another'.

Not sure which thread to stick this in, but given the unnecessary appreciation of Moira Stuart on this forum, I thought users might be interested to know that she's due to receive an honorary doctorate from Edinburgh University- so it's Dr. Stuart from now on.

Getting back on to the subject of Breakfast, I prefer the old blue background!

So did I. Sad So much for bold and different - perhaps they felt the idea was just too "blue sky" (I thang yow). Obviously giving in meekly to the Points Of View brigade (or probably the TV Forum brigade) rather than a truly representative sample. After all, even though the background was blue, it still exhibited a warm 'colour temperature'. It was hardly cold like the virtual 'glass' set of the mid 90s.
