So one week in, I'm wondering whether they're going to use the weekend to make a few tweaks - I'm hoping they do something about that mess in the corner of the set behind the desk, even if it's only to tweak the clouds so that that bit is always blue sky so that the reflection doesn't look quite so bad... or move that big Breakfast logo in so that it starts at the corner and covers the join
A couple of observations from the past few days...
Susannah Reid's hair no longer appears to be going grey as it was before her maternity leave.
And, much as I love Sian, I wish she'd stop telling us about how she's just about to tell us the time: "Let's look at the time - it's 7.25". Just tell us!

Leave her alone. Sian is one of the best presenters on BBC News. She is natural, friendly and yet still very professional. She always makes it seem as though she is just holding a conversation with the viewer......and "Let's look at the time" is just one example of this

I agree somewhat but I think it is the exact opposite when she is interviewing a senior politician - she never lets them answer. Though it is good to an extent as she pushes to an answer, she doesn't really give them chance to explain.

I am guessing she picked that up from her stint on the six, I don't remember her saying that much on breakfast when I used to watch it a couple of years ago, and I don't get to see Breakfast that often anymore.
