This isn't working on my computer. Is there a codec for Quicktime I need to download?

Yeah get yourself an XviD codec, just be careful of the spyware!

Anyone know where I can get one from? I've had a look here but couldn't find one. I'm on a Mac also.

Hi Row, don't know much about Macs, I'm afraid, but try this link http://www.xvidmovies.com/mac/ to see if it's any help.

I see the clock has changed back. No more broken box.

GoAround
Yes, and the clouds seem to be animating more. Wouldn't it be nice if they actually moved around slowly? Just inching to the right?

You need a program called Flip for Mac. This will do the trick.

News24
I think it may even be good to make more of a tower, rather than the clock. Obviously they don't use TOG for Breakfast except at weekends when they're in N8 anyway, but it would be good to give a more uniform look across all platforms. They can put up name straps and other astons which are designed to correspond with N24, so maybe they should flesh out the clock or at least add a BBC logo to it.

Anyone noticed the purple used in the animation cutting into the studio from the 6 titles in the behind the scenes video?

Presumably to give Breakfast a distinct and different look to the rest of BBC News. Shame the clouds look crap tho.

If you mean this ... then yes, and it just seems so wrong!
