Unless the bloke doing the playout was a personal friend of Entwistle, I doubt the silent ident was intended, nobody's died!

Woooah! What happened on the BBC News channel at the 11pm TOTH? The cameras seemed to have a complete spasm. Must be sad about the news...

Spinning blocks not in HD then? First time I'd seen it on TV and the quality was pretty rubbish. I guess it normally doesn't matter as it shouldn't be seen.

HD caught up half way into the report.

I saw what happened - the main camera came into focus a second earlier than usual and Annita looked a little surprised.

Hardly something to wet yourself over!
