I remember we used to have a news on BBC2 at 320(ish) weekdays and a 7pm one on Saturdays

The weekday afternoon summaries were moved to BBC One to allow for a regional summary on digital, since not all regions can get on all digital version of BBC Two (as discussed elsewhere)
