Seems like a total waste of resources to be honest.

What a surprise something happen with protesters and the cameras are else where....

At 11am, just as the service is commencing, ITV cut to 'The Hub' and are now doing the Crime File.

The BBC & Sky News are covering it in full dear, as announced last week.

People who want to know about the smaller than expected protests will watch the news later.

I'm not sure if it made it on air, but shortly after the service, a Slough street sweeper van did the rounds of the forecourt of St Paul's.

Viewers in the US and Canada were able to get their early-morning fix of Bio-Dimbleby on C-SPAN and CPAC, both of which showed the BBC One programme live. I believe they were the only overseas broadcasters to do so.

Watching back the coverage via Sky Plus, did anyone notice Charlie appear on the NC for about 10 secs by mistake?

Why didnt the Breakfast prog run through to 915 on One & the NC?

It wouldve saved money.

Breakfast still had some guests on until 9.15, with them having nothing to do with the funeral.
