It's this week's Number 2, and they did actually play a part of the song that included the line 'Ding dong the witch is dead'. They have combined it into a report.

irony is the report was longer than 51 seconds. I did not expect to hear this report, I thought there were just going to skim over it and just add the news report at 6pm.

This kind of fits here. I noticed yesterday that the Election 79 programme now has subtitles. I'm pretty sure this is the first time one of these programmes have been repeated with subtitles. It was done with live style subtitles but I don't think they were actually live as they were word perfect.

There seemed to be a slight black border around the whole thing, don't know if it was something to do with how it was transferred when they started these repeats. 1979 was the first one ever shown on Parliament - back in September 2002 - on that occasion there wasn't the short clip of Thatcher arriving in Downing Street tacked on the end which seems to be there now (famously missed from the main programme as BBC1 were showing Play School).
Dermot Murnaghan will eschew a black tie in the lead role for Sky News; producers decided he should be "soberly dressed" but a black tie was unwarranted because the ceremony is not a state funeral. Adam Boulton, Colin Brazier and Gillian Joseph will report from around central London, as will the Skycopter.

I think Kay Burley is in South Africa at present. What about Jeremy Thompson, I would have thought he would be in the lead role.
On Wednesday then...
Radio 4's coverage is to be led by Sian Williams with commentary by James Naughtie. It will be on air from 10-12.
5Live are doing their own thing with Victoria Derbyshire, Shelagh Fogarty and Peter Allen from 9.30-2.
World Service don't have any schedule changes although I imagine Dan Damon may opt into bits on World Update.
...so that is how the Radio coverage is shaping up.
Something else I've just learned: The core service coverage is a BBC/Sky co-production. AFAIK, ITN don't have any rights - beyond, presumably, fair 'news rights' use. So they'll have SNG trucks around the Cathedral, but I don't believe they'll be allowed to show anything live from inside it.
What about CNN - the previously linked Guardian article indicates special coverage is planned
