Looks like regional news wil be on at 2 on BBC One.

You know I thought that too - didn't know if it was too much barking in her ear or genuine emotion.

Oh and as for Robinson's obit - Thatcher would have had obits ready for broadcast for the past thirty years. As has most public figures.

Jane Garvey sitting in for Vine on Radio 2 also rolling coverage asking for people to phone in.

I didn't see the original announcement - but I'm not surprised. I'm sure they would have met at some point, and there is a limit to how far journalists can separate themselves from the news when they are involved in it.

World at One doesn't appear to be ending at 1.45 - I guess they are rolling coverage till two on Radio 4 as well. They are playing a report now about her and Europe by Mark Mardell - that must be a good few years old!
