Baroness Thatcher has died

Any word on what the archive programming on Parliament is tonight yet?
There's something about 1963 on but it doesn't seem the most obvious year to pick for Thatcher.

Probably because they are still getting new statements and reaction from people around the world

Have BBC News always used the titles World News use normally when they don't use the newsroom shot?

Huw Edwards still going in studio C with a simulcast. I see they are using London skyline backdrop.

They're using a different London Skyline, though. I don't think it's one that has been used before...

Channel 5 are tonight airing '5 News at 5' as 'Margaret Thatcher: A 5 News Special'.

They haven't updated the listings yet. The 1963 programme is a repeat which they've been showing for the past week or so.

Made a bit of a hash of the opening sequence there - could they not have done the usual sequence with a pan of parliament to downing street instead of the pan of the newsroom?

The 6 from Downing St with what looks like preparations for a news conference going on in the background. Maybe not a suitable place to present from if it starts!

When it starts they'll be showing it!

ITV also cut the credits to The Chase to one single black screen and 1' page' of credits before as normal but by this point earlier to local news promo
