The BAFTA nominations have been announced today. Here are the news specific ones:

Nominated for News Coverage
The Battle for Mosul (Sky News)
The Grenfell Tower Fire (Channel 4 News)
The Grenfell Tower Fire (ITV News at Ten)
The Rohingya Crisis (Sky News)

As well as this, ITV's election results programme has been nominated for the 'Live Event' category.

Maybe you don’t reward wrong doing. I know it’s hard to fathom in this day and age.

He’s someone millions of people see and look up to, and given an award/ nomination after an offence like that is poor IMO.

What on earth are you on about? Confused The two things are completely separate If you want to see wrong doing there alot worse then him in the TV industry...

FYI he is getting punished that why he has been charged and going to court...

Specifics, please. Otherwise, you're just spreading rumours, which frankly you don't need to do, our esteemed press is more than capable of doing that job...

And if you honestly think that being nominated for an award after this latest drink driving thing is perfectly acceptable, and not rewarding bad behaviour, then frankly, if you are a part of the industry, you get out of it, post haste! The connection or lack of is irrelevant, it is how it looks to the viewer, and ONLY how it looks to the viewer that matters, and frankly, it doesn't look good.
