Award Winning Granada News - Your Views

They announced last night that as of Monday 14th, there would be a new-look Granada Reports.

oh dear at 3pm we had the Granada News DOG back, hope it's not on at 6pm

Every other region seems to be using them now, even those that never did before, so chances are that they will be, even though I don't see the point to any of them, except for live's, used on the astons and perhaps for exclusives (if other broadcasters are going to buy them), as for any other time it just seems wierd.

Glad they've gone for a cityscape and not endless boring squares.

Another region not using laptops on the desk though.

Just turned on Granada Reports and they have re-introduced a DOG on-screen. Also noticed that they are using animated astons but animate to the right of the screen rather than the traditional left.

What do people in Liverpool think about the new background. Does it alienate viewers in the rest of the region?

Well it has always been focused towards Manchester anyway so this wont change much

I'm interested to know where the Camera is, as it is pointing AT Granada TV (as you can see it) not from the Top of the Studios.

Looks very nice IMO, I'm glad they've chosen the Live view. The animating astons give it more of an ITV affect.
