Because, Liftshaft, I do not need to grow up, as, based on the detail in your About Me page, I'm about twice as old as you already.
It's YOU who need to grow up, correct the sizing of the pictures on your website, accept the existence of TWW on your ITV History page and learn the correct spelling of the word Cymru.
I'm not "taking the mick", as you put it, I'm purely (for the seventh time) pointing out the incorrect items on your website, as YOU originally requested.
Though there has been NO actual confirmation of a new set, I think something fishy is going on at Granada Reports this week, I managed to catch the beginning and the end of the programme both Tonight and the night before and noticed a couple of things. One thing is that the overhead shot of the studio at the beginning of the programme has disappeared, instead it is just starts with a normal shot of the presenters. Another is the end shot, which again is the same overhead shot as above has disappeared, it now seems to be a different camera angle, so you can see all 3 presenters sitting around the desk.
Also they seem to be using the CSO a bit more, can't say for lunchtime bulletins, but they have been doing so for the 10.50pm bulletins. Now is it me thinking oddly, but are they constructing a new set opposite the old one or something?
BTW Granada Reports is still bloody awful, don't mind the shorter bulletins, but GR has become very cringeworthy, a bit too much biased comment in between the reports. (e.g. "Well done to that Police officer for doing a good job" <- When it is a major story not a silly, light, end of programme report)
Granada Reports has a poor cutting of theme... the part where it zooms in on the region sounds awful and then the 'Other Headlines' part doesn't fit in very well, presumably that is part of the old GR theme?
well i found these to clips on TV Ark and mixed them together, as you can see the beds do sound a like, but i could only find a few seconds of the old one.
The fast paced bed used after the titles is part of the new Generic Package as it is used for "Meridian Report" part of Meridian Tonight. It does sound very similar to the old GR theme. There is the possibility that Meridian could be using something from GR but I think that would be unlikely.
Granda Reports' set does need a changing, the previous one was far better and much less cramped. The use of it was very flexible and it was constructed with "ends" as seen during Reports Weekly and there was a sofa too.
It will be interesting to see if GR adopt the "sofa" look as per the other new regional sets as a big thing was made of the move to a desk when Granada Tonight changed to Granada Reports as GT has become "This Morning North West" with very little news, GR seems to be going back that way with the 'comment' between each item. They'll be back to ponds next!!!!
Not sure if they are getting a new set but they have been using the CSO today for lunchtime with Peter Berry.
As I've already said, I think there is something fishy going on, as the CSO is being used for all Granada News bulletins, where as the main studio is only being used for Granada Reports, and even then you don't get the normal camera shots at the beginning and at the end of the programme.
Althogh it's not unusal for them to use the CSO at lunchtime, well it hasn't been in the past, I've not seen it for a while, but certainly within the past year they have used the CSO at lunchtime on a number of occasions. Though the no overhead shots would suggest something is going on.

I know what you mean, somedays they just can't decide which studio they will be in, the same for the 10.50pm bulletin, but you have to agree that it is odd that they've been doing it everyday last week for the lunchtime and late bulletins. I didn't see every bulletin last week, but everytime I watched Granada News (Not Reports) they used the CSO.
