Trevor does do weekends, but Maria does too.

They do vary who presents the weekend news.

I was looking through some of my videos and I came across this image, this is from last week (Friday 6 May).

On the van behind Ann, there is a Granada Reports logo from the 2001-2003 period. I would've thought they would plaster the van with the ITV Granada logo by now.

The story was about the election recount in the constituency of Wirral West.

He was made redundant in 2001 and then came back in 2003.

I was surprised Trevor didn't replace Tony Wilson, but, I do think Tony Morris is very good.

I have noticed Caroline Wareham has been presenting the 1055 Updates for most of this week, maybe she is being trained up.

There have been many changes at Granada since February 14th when they moved into the new studio, I am sure there will be many more.


I never knew Trevor got made redundant, I thought he left to go to Sky News, but again was surprised to see him back at Granada.

Agree Tony Morris is a good reader, but he forces out alod of unneccessary banter, which is cringeworthy.

Looks like Granada Reports is now 16:9 on Sky. Still 4:3 on analogue.

Amusing moment there at 5.30. Lucy and Ali clearly didnt know they where on air. We had them talking to each other for a while, before a ITV ident appeared, although it was somewhat transparrent and so they where still visible. Then went to black, and after a quick glimpse of them laughing we rejoined Paul O'Grady!!!

It looks like Anna Thomas did the late news last night and then the breakfast news this morning, just what is going on with the presenters at the moment.?.

The build-up and presentation on Granada Reports & Granada News has been very good.

I thought it was crap tonight, as firstly I am a Manchester United supporter, and secondly, but more importantly that was the only News, there was no other News, considering the fact there were some stories today believe it or not.

But Granada must be spending alot of money as Lucy Meacock, Mike Hall and Ann O'Connor have all been sent to Istanbul, where as Tony Morris and Alastair Mann were sent to a Pub in Liverpool.
