The aston animation has changed to ITV news style in bulletins now, but the animation is the same as Meridian's.

Now the yellow line goes left instead of right.

Good to see that Granada have sorted it out, you never knew whether they were coming or going, as Granada Reports had all DOG's and animated astons, where as the short bulletins took ages to load the DOG and have a normal aston.

All they need to do know is get the view of Manchester on all bulletins.

On Granada Reports tonight, during the headlines new captions appeared and it animated just like ITV news', also some different astons.

Very Meridian - good to see the other regions catching up...

I wonder why but Meridian's Aston just animate in with the text, but on the National News, there is a white box for 2 seconds before the aston 'spawns'... and then at the end, the text disappears for a second and then the aston pixelates off.

OMG they have switched to CSO again...I hope it's only for tonight's bulletin, tonight and tonight only!

Yea, it might be actually. Do you watch all the regions within the bulletins? lol...I know I do!

The Last Word is coming from it's own studio with the usual people, Rob McCoughlin, a couple of MP's and Stuart Hall (in his trademark blue jumper)

Just out of interest, was the CSO used the same onscreen as the old one?

No, it was a different cso background but it was the same background for bulletins, the blue squares were static.

The Last Word came from Studio 2, the same studio which holds:

Granada Reports
Soccer Night
Sunday Program

and the CSO is in the Community Studio.
