Lucy Hockings did the 2100-0030 shift a couple of times last week. Anyway, although she is not an Asia Today presenter like Keshini Navartnam, Geeta-Guru Murthy and Anya Sitaram I saw her once presenting just the 1530 Asia Today without presenting the previous nor the next BBCNews.

Lucy's main job was producing, and she still does this, AIUI. She also took on presenting duties a few years back. So, she may have had her producer hat on that afternoon, but might have been asked to present AT due to sickness etc. Apparently, she's a very useful person to BBC World with being able to do two jobs.

Indeed. If you watch the closing credits of Hardtalk closely you will see her name is sometimes in there.

Wow, you must have super eyesight, as the closing credits of Hard Talk proceed at a lightning pace akin to Concorde breaking the sound barrier.
