The backdrop for the news bulletins looks like the New Zealand House backdrop, from the days when they had that studio with the desk shaped like an "A". But it seems there's only one camera, facing the presenter and that's it. During the earlier bulletins you could hear mouse clicks, so a question to those in the know: is it possible that the presenters were self-operating an autocue?
Edit: In fact, this video, uploaded by BlackRook Media yesterday appears to confirm they are back at their old home, and there's the A desk!

Over the weekend they were milking the Obama Africa visit, looping the raw feed of the various public speeches given by the US President, without any editorial analysis.
Now it seems they're managing live bulletins - no on-screen graphics, not even the Arise News DOG in the last hour, but the addition of a sports presenter and multi-camera shots of the studio. This is a change to last week when the 2pm slot was used to repeat the morning's news.

Arise News got a revised DOG last week, and on-screen graphics have made a return.
What is noticeable is a lack of US programmes. All I can see are UK based programmes - no Arise Entertainment 360 or Arise America. Given the owner's previous form, has he forgotton to pay the US based staff?
The absence of the channel's US output is noticeable: such output has traditionally focused on a Black American agenda and the channel has in the past covered such issues very deeply and sensitively. But this week, while the Ferguson anniversary and arrest was covered on the channel, it wasn't given the same thorough and in-depth treatment as it would have done at one point.
With the constant changes to the channel, it doesn't seem to have an editorial identity - e.g. when you turn on RT, you know what the news is going to be like, when you see CNN it has that identity, feel, agenda that makes that news service a bit different from others.

I noticed Sara Firth has also returned from Africa where she had a stint in Lagos and Jo'berg before the recent problems started and is again studio based as special correspondent.

Too right. Their reputation is shot to pieces. I worked some freelance shifts in their first incarnation at Westminster Live Studios. Freelance payment at that time was through a third party so I got my dough. I jumped ship when they were thrown out of Westminster Live for non-payment of rent and moved to New Zealand House. I'm so glad I did!!
Yes. Arise now have a non-existent reputation in the London freelance industry. They have left a string of broken promises re: payment, and allegedly left some people tens of thousands of pounds out of pocket.

The latest newsletter of the London Freelance Branch of the National Union of Journalists has a note that members are strongly advised to consult the freelance office at union HQ before carrying out any work for Arise.
I watched a few minutes of the channel the other day and they were showing some kind of awards ceremony hosted by the founder of Arise in Nigeria.

Arise have started posting clips to YouTube again.
They've got the soft area back up again, as shown in this clip.
