Sadly one is true... Guess which one Rolling Eyes

Arrow Huw Edwards to present Newsround
Arrow Boris Johnson to run for mayor
Arrow Tim Wilcox to take a holiday
Arrow Five News to be taken seriously

Actually two of those are true (sort of...)

Well no, because if Huw does present Newsround then Tim won't be able to take the holiday as he'll be needed you see.

So nobody remembers Huw co-presenting Newsround, then?

Read how it's been phrased - Huw edwards to present Newsround, not Huw Edwards has presented newsround or Huw Edwards presents Newsround.

And I don't know if this has been mentioned, but The Daily Express ran a story in todays paper saying that Big Ben was going under repair again, and for the meantime a digital clock would stay in its place.

How sh*t is the Daily Express? That is pathetic

I think the penguin one on the BBC has to be one of the best done on TV for quite some time - though I'm sure the Daily Mail will be rapping them tomorrow for spending money on an April Fool.

The joke was played several years ago, in fact, by another news agency, causing many to phone in to voice their views that this was a 'disgrace' etc, etc...

I'm trawling through today's Indy trying to find any sign of an April Fool's joke. Several marked as suspect at the moment. I love that BBC iPlayer one though: the flying penguins are excellent.

For anyone who hasn't seen/found the clips...

I'm guessing it came out of iPlayer's marketing budget, and seems to have worked fairly well in getting people to visit the facility (unless they viewed via YouTube).

Virgle: http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html is also one of Google's April Fools pranks this year. Richard Branson links up with the founders of Google in order to set up a human colony on Mars.

April Fools joke yes, but realistically it'll happen one day anyway I reckon.

I still think Google's TISP prank from last year was pretty good. Get connected to the Internet by flushing some cable down the toilet. Very Happy
